The Australian Butler course
The Australian Butler course has been developed to equip graduates with skills and expertise to undertake the challenges of a career in private service. Course content is regularly reviewed for currency and relevance by the Board of Studies. A comprehensive hotel/butler training program is available for on-site delivery.
Three courses are held each year. Dates for 2008 and 2009 are:

2 March 2009 - 27 March 2009
6 July 2009 - 31 July 2009
12 October 2009 - 6 November 2009
Important information about the course
- contains units of Tourism and Hospitality Training which are VETAB accredited.
- focuses on private residence and estate management
- is live-in for the duration of the 4 weeks training in self-catering accommodation within the town of Braidwood
- covers a comprehensive range of subjects on all aspects of personal service and gracious living
- is designed to refine and enhance the skills of individuals experienced in the hospitality and service industries
- places emphasis on the psychology of working in private service
- teaches skills and provides tools to ensure a successful career as a butler or residential manager
- is regularly assessed and upgraded to keep abreast of international trends to ensure content is current, topical and relevant
- is practical and geared to job placement for graduates
