The Australian Butler course has been developed to equip graduates with skills and expertise to undertake the challenges of a career in private service. Course content is regularly reviewed for currency and relevance by the Board of Studies. A comprehensive hotel/butler training program is available for on-site delivery.

Three courses are held each year. Dates for 2008 and 2009 are:

• is live-in for the duration of the 4 weeks training in self-catering accommodation within the town of Braidwood

• places emphasis on the psychology of working in private service
• teaches skills and provides tools to ensure a successful career as a butler or residential manager

• is practical and geared to job placement for graduates
