Appreciation and acknowledgement

Extensive research was undertaken into the requirements and expectations of prospective employers. By assessing the needs of individuals and families who have become our clients, we have developed a program which is informative and practical, designed to build on existing skills and prepare each student for immediate employment. The continuing assessment, research and development of the course requires the input and advice of many contributors. Greatly appreciated assistance in preparing the curriculum has been provided by:

• Thomas Meany OAM - former Head Butler Government House Sydney, Level II lecturer in Hospitality, Valeting and Catering, ex Navy, formerly Chief Steward to five Admirals including Sir David Martin (Governor of New South Wales)
• Colin Bold - Aide de Comp to three New South Wales Governors and expert on Protocol
• Marea Stenmark OAM - friend, motivator, communicator par excellence!
• Simon Kidd, who researched the Valeting program
• Elizabeth Cohen who allowed us to use her home as a training venue
• Janine Joseph of Carla Florist, a great contributor who continues to support and assist
• Jon Osbeiston whose knowledge of wines is exceptional and whose wisdom and advice continues to be invaluable
• John Cutler who shared his knowledge and experience as a bespoke tailor
• Julian Bickerstith from International Conservations for his extensive knowledge of restoration and preservation
• Elizabeth Camille who put us on the web and for several years looked after our site and contributed as a representative of the International Guild of Butlers
• Helen Lynch who walked us through the shoals and potholes of the Government registration process and continues to contribute as a valued member of the Board of Studies.
